Baby Shower #2

Here is an update of my baby bump! Growing at a fast rate these days!

Last weekend, my sister Paula hosted my 1st baby shower. Lots of pictures were taken, but not by me. Waiting on pics so I can post about it! Today my friend, Jennifer, hosted a baby shower for me. It was fun to see old friends, catch up, and celebrate baby Kaylee!

Kaylee also got some more outfits/onesies, cute bibs, a fun jumper for the doorway, some books to make her smart, a teething ring, a fun bath toy, rubber ducky, hooded bath towel, bottle brush, and a health kit to keep her properly groomed :) I love that I have such wonderful friends to share this experience with! Thanks everyone :)

Playard :)

My wonderful grandmother told me that she would purchase a playard/bassinet for Baby Kaylee. We found one we really liked at the Baby Depot, but they sold out at all 4 locations! Our main requirements were something gender neutral, with a mobile, and changing table since this is where Kaylee will be sleeping at first.

My mom found this playard/temporary bassinet online at a great price and I just ordered it! Can't wait for it to arrive :) Isn't it cute? We love our animal theme!

JoJo's Surgery

Well, Eric and I broke down and finally had JoJo neutered. Poor thing has not been himself since I dropped him off Friday morning. He doesn't seem to be in too much pain, I think but he is in enough to not have his JoJo personality. He is in enough that I don't like leaving him. He is in enough that he has to wear that stupid cone on his head to keep him from licking/scratching his stitched area. I think the stitches itch more than hurt him. Gotta wait until Monday to get the stitches out. Each day will be an improvement I hope! Can't wait to have my crazy fun doggie back :)

Crazy Beautiful Weather

This week started off rough weather wise. Eric and I headed to the Grizzlies game Sunday night and we were freezing when we left, not to mention the rain that began to fall on us as we walked to the car. The game was great and we had awesome seats thanks to my brother! We were excited to see Shane in the Grizzlies uniform again! Check Kevin out in the background of my pic :)

All week long the mornings were chilly in the 30s and low 40s which meant I had to break out a coat again. Glad I got my pregnancy coat for Christmas b/c my others do not zip anymore :) Recess was chilly and we didn't even go out one day b/c it was only 43, craziness!

Definitely hasn't felt like spring, but today sure was different. It was such a lovely day! Spent the day at Em's softball games. I enjoyed watching her games with my parents. First game wasn't so great, but we pulled out a great win in game #2. Here are a few action shots:

Eric and I put Kaylee's name letters up on the wall in her nursery. Took a little bit to get the letters even, but I think we did a pretty good job. I love getting things accomplished in there, makes it feel more and more real!!
