The couch is my favorite spot!

I love our couch! Being 9 months preggo, it is hard to find comfortable spots to sit/lay down. Well, our couch has been my best friend on the weekends lately and now will continue to be each day until Kaylee Joy decides to make her entrance into the world since I am on summer break! I am soooooo ready to have her! Spending time on the couch means watching lots of tv. Here is what I have been into:

Last weekend, I started watching Glee through our Wii on Netflix. People at work always talk about how funny the show is, but I never took a look at it. Mainly b/c the show airs on Tuesdays at the same time as One Tree Hill and Biggest Loser. My DVR only lets me record two things at once, causing an issue! Anyways, I started watching last weekend and watched 8 episodes in two days. Haha. Then, I watched a few more throughout the week and finally wrapped it up this past weekend. Now, I have to find a way to watch season 2.....hopefully somewhere on the internet will have it!

Last weekend, I also started watching "The Road to the College Softball World Series. First, the teams had to make it through the Regionals to knock it down to 16 teams. Then this weekend, those 16 teams make it to the Super Regionals best two out of three series knocking it down to 8 teams. I watched as many of the games as I could. Some of them were shown on ESPNU which we do not have, but those that were on ESPN and ESPN2 I was able to watch. A lot of the teams that have been making it the past few years didn't make the cut. I am pulling for Alabama or Florida to pull out the win b/c the SEC still hasn't won a championship! The 8 teams that made it to the world series are:
Arizona State- Pac 10
California- Pac 10
Oklahoma- Big 12
Oklahoma State- Big 12
Baylor- Big 12
Missouri- Big-12
Alabama- SEC
Florida-SEC

I got off the couch for a little bit this weekend to make it out to the movies with Eric to see The Hangover Part 2. It was just as funny as the first one. I do not know how they think of the crazy story lines in those movies. Those guys are hilarious!

Last night, Eric and I watched Due Date which I had set up to receive from Netflix. Since our due date with Kaylee is right around the corner, I figured we could relate. Eric wasn't crazy about watching it, but as soon as I put it in I could tell he was going to love it. The movie has Zach Galifianakis in it which is the same crazy guy from The Hangover. Very funny crazy movie.

Bad Weather= No Fun

Currently, the tornado sirens are going off in our county. The tornado warning is not for our part of the county, but the sirens go off anyway. There is a siren in our backyard, so it is pretty piercing to our ears. Here are a couple of cool weather pictures from our news station websites and facebook:

I admit, pictures of storms are pretty neat, but the storms themselves scare the poo out of me. I am not one to watch the storms roll in, I head straight for the closet. I can only imagine how nervous I will be when I have baby Kaylee to take care of during one of these things. Hope everyone stays safe!

On a happy note, tomorrow is the last day of school for the kiddos and Friday is the last day for teachers! Two months off here I come :)

Flip Cam!

So for my ASU graduation present, my parents gave me a Flip video Cam! Eric and I are very excited to have easy access to film our baby girl whenever she does something super cute. I have been practicing using the camera on JoJo and at Em's softball games. Here is a cute little clip of our sweet dog:

Swollen Feet

Being preggo has actually been a very enjoyable experience for me. I never got sick or had any crazy side effects or issues. I have absolutely loved feeling little Kaylee move around and seeing the progression of how big she is getting. Now that I have entered week 37 of my pregnancy, the tail end of my pregnancy, I officially feel like a typical preggo woman. I have swollen feet and fingers and I do not like it at all. It is very strange looking at my feet and seeing them so large! My doctor did say that I was luckier than most b/c I didn't swell as early as some do. My feet are way more noticeable than my fingers, but my fingers are swollen enough that my wedding rings don't feet comfortably anymore, having to wear them on a necklace chain. With all the swelling, I have also become super tired again like at the beginning of the pregnancy. Definitely ready for this baby girl to enter the world! This weekend I am looking forward to relaxing on the couch with my feet propped up waiting to see my sweet girl!

Graduate School Complete!

I have officially completed my second and final master's degree! It is such a relief to know that I do not have to write more papers, participate in discussion posts, or complete internship activities. Don't get me wrong, I am very glad I ventured into ASU to get this Master's in Educational Leadership. I am proud that I paid for the classes all on my own, and I have learned lots and feel better prepared to be an administrator at some point in my career. I just LOVE knowing that my weekends will get to be filled with playtime with my daughter rather than stuck on my laptop completing assignments :)
